This blog contains basically all reviews of my series/movies ( with subtitles) that i watched, I usually write on my twitter account but since 280 characters are not enough to express my feelings towards a certain movie/series so here I am.
I wont deny it that I like Darren Wang (Taiwanese) and it was in this movie that I fell for him. He was into his character which is a problem student, a gangster to be exact but is doesn’t stop him for liking someone and for someone fall for him also. I lost count how many times I watched , made me kilig and cried because of this film.
The characters of young TrulyLin and Taiyu are well portrayed of, and though they were so opposites in everything, that doesn’t stop them from falling inlove with each other. Though their love story ended after 20yrs when both of them are adult already (spoiler alert) I felt sad how their young selves badly parted ways but anyways I am just happy it was a happy ending after all. Yes! im a sucker of happy ending.
Ok so #GeezandAnn was not the 1st Indonesian film i watched there’s Dilan and Milea, the trilogy that I still can’t move on, there’s Friends but married, Eiffel In love or even Ada apa denga Cinta who took 10yrs to release their sequel & all of them if not Trilogy there will always a part 2, yes! ALWAYS.
I don't know why Indonesian likes a sequel in every movie that they make , can’t they just have 1 movie and make it a happy ending, it kills me to wait for so long and then end up feeling hurt because of a painful ending (yes Im talking about Dilan & Milea)
I don’t know how many times I paused the film just to appreciate the beauty of Geez(Junior Roberts) Why is he insanely handsome? I mean why? why? I bet girls will go crazy every time he do his “staring-tease” lolz. Ok now , back to the film , though the movie was cliche and predictable but because the actors delivered nicely and the story was also a relatable experience to us commoners, it reach to 8/10 on my standard.
I just hope i could have a happy ending on Geez & Ann the one i didn’t get from Dilan & Milea.
Another 40 episodes that I finally finished watching from another great Chinese drama, I always wanted to watch this series since I admire Song Weilong but after watching the first episode I fell in love with the story, it was full of rollercoaster of emotions.
Their acting was superb I started to like and stalk Steven Zhang, I cant count how many times I cried when he started to cry. The kids and adults who portrayed the characters were at their best. The storyline of course is so great and explores all sorts of realistic issues relating to family and relationships.
The thing with Chinese drama is like watching the shorter version of Philippine drama, where it involves a lot of cast characters and lines, that’s why there are times i skipped some scenes especially when the conversation are too long. But of course, though you know that Chinese drama will end eventually compared to Philippine drama.
All in all I will recommend this series to everyone.
I am currently obsessed with this korean drama, Though i dont really know the main leads but when I saw some clips I noticed both of them have chemistry and nice to look at on the screen, Which by the way I commend the series for having a calm cinematography.
During this times of Pandemic where most our days were just staying at home , It would be nice to watch light movies/series to keep us sane. Although I am still at episode 4 but the feeling of I want more and the feeling of I can’t wait for the next episode is there. This is a relatable series , It tells you more than just a puppy love or unrequited love or friendship but they also have scenes of woman empowerment and showing us a quality of being good employer.
I hope that next upcoming episode will continue to make us feel that there is something to look forward and I do hope also that the ending wont disappoint us. So far JBTC gave us a lot of nice series to watch. Go watch!
So my weekend will never be the same again, The “Its ok to not be okay” has the perfect finale for a perfect drama, the story, the characters, the cast, the ost , the location are perfect, Especially When you see all the characters together appeared on the the final episode showing how their characters break through, its simply perfect.
The 3yrs of waiting for the Kim Soo Hyun’s come back drama is so worth it, And the tandem of Seo Ye-ji made it even better and of course the entire series wouldn’t be successful without the rest of the cast who portrayed their characters very well.
Though I still refuse believe that its already the end and on the level of Sepax, I am truly happy of the outcome so I need to move on. This is one of the best thing that year 2020 has offered to us.
Have you watch the south korean movie “Alive”? well all I can say it was one crazy movie , its not just your ordinary zombie movie. A lot of people said that they were a bit of disappointed of the Peninsula but this “Alive” movie will really give you chills and worth your time watching.
Yo Ah In and Park Shin Hye are both very outstanding in the movie they portray a very satisfying emotions that sometimes it will get you carried away. The suspense are great too & with some scenes that will make your heart weak.
It wont be a surprise if this movie will be a phenomenal & trending. If only there’s no Covid situation in our place and the movie house are open then for sure this will be a blockbuster movie.
Back from the days when I was still single and up to now that I am now married Bangkok Traffice love story is and will always be one of my favorite Thai movie, i even lost count already on how many times I watch it.
The couple are are both look cute together. The story also is sweet , light and funny. Despite of its being clichè of girl meets boy then fall inlove and break each others’ heart and reconcile, They were able to make an ending that was quick and sweet.
and “Kiss me At the Stroke of Midnight” is one of those manga series that turn into a movie kind of a thing and made it to my one of my favorite list.
This movie is refreshing and light, Its one of those moment when u want to watch a chill teenybopper movie to release stress.
I don't know if I am biased or something but for me Japanese can really make a good live action movie or series.* slow clap* I watched tons of them already and I dont have that much complain of their work. *slow clap* again.
I am finally done watching the 40 episodes of Prince of Tennis the Chinese Version , yup I mentioned the version because I found out while watching the series that this is not the original one. The series is nice , light & different from all the dramas that I watched. I have nothing to compare because I haven't watch the anime and I only have a few video clips from the Japanese live action.
But most Chinese drama usually have long episodes and a lot of conversations or lines, there are times that i skipped scenes not just this one but most Chinese dramas because of the long lines.
But the story itself is good and a little part of me wanted to try and play tennis. I wish that there are more scenes of Lu Xia and Qi Ying i find them so cute.
I know its already 2yrs late but from the moment they release the trailer I knowI really wanted to watch this movie and they did not fail me.
How can I move on from the ending when its killing me but it shows the reality, I guess that not everyone you met no matter how loved, happy or good memories you had with that person when he/she cant be the one for you he/she wont be the right one for you.
I thought that after they went through they will still go back with each other but I guess not. The moment when the male lead saw the female lead walking down the aisle thats the point when he knows they cant be together anymore.
Leaving you with my favorite line from the ending scene.
I do love to watch travel show with my favorie artist in it . The last I time i remember enjoying watching travel series was Youth Over Flower in Iceland , Laos and Africa and finally this one.
I do love to travel and by watching these series it will make you want to travel more and explore new places. The places that the TWOgether show showed us are truely amazing and it has best scenery and so photogenic.
I am already begun recommending everyone to watch this show, And what more can you ask for when you already have Lee Seungi and Jasper Lui in it who are a perfect combination for the show and question why they only have 8 episodes for it.
Another amazing Kdrama ended last night. Why do good dramas only lasted 12 episodes?
People underestimate the extent value of #MysticPopUpBar. You definitely love this trio. They are a completely blend of every emotions, they went from being a comedic trio with great teamwork to a warm family who had each other's shoulders to lean on.
The #MysticPopUpBar_Finale is the epitome of all the finales , If we won't get a season 2 i am already satisfied & happy with the ending they that they deserve. And Sungjae you never failed to amazed me :D 10/10
I can’t remember the time when I first watch “The Classic” of Jo Insung and Son Yi-Jin but I can still remember the feeling of while watching it and after I watch it, I even lost count of how many times I watch it again. Now the Thai did a remake of this movie its called “Classic Again”.
Now before I compare the two different but the same movie (get it? hihihi) let me share a little background of the story.
Its about a love story of the female lead's mother and without realizing she actually have the same dilemma with her love life's current situation. When I like a certain movie there should always have a favorite scene, In this movie I have a lot. In the past life it would be "The dance" , "The confrontation" , "The time when the male lead leave for a war" and "Female lead found his current situation after the war". While in the present it was "the running under the rain" of course and the last scene when they realized they both have connections already from their past.
In the Korean version the last scene was not exactly explain how did the necklace get to his boyfriend, But in the Thai version they really had a scene of how did he (boyfriend) get necklace. I also had fun watching the Thai version because they literally had a version of “Me to you,You to me” its the famous OST of the movie which I love and that was used in #HospitalPlaylist also. By the way Non (Thai) really looks like Jo Insung also.
So before I leave here's the old version of the "Me to you, You to me". Hope you will like it as much as I do,
Dilan 1990, Dilan 1991 and Milea (A voice from Dilan) trilogy is the first Indonesian drama that I ever watch.
Its a story about a teenage love and literally what is meant by "the right person at the wrong time".
I know that they release these movies long ago but it was Netflix who introduce me to them, When I downloaded and started to watch Dilan 1990 I fel inlove with it right away, When I finished Dilan 1991 there's a part of me that i wanted more, that's the time I searched , stalked and learned that both of them will have different happy endings apart. When I finally watched Milea (A voice of Dilan), I can actually felt the pain and the sadness for both of them, especially when the reality hits them hard that they can no longer be together again.
The trilogy taught me a lot of things, first be honest, If only both of them are honest with their feelings and communicate well ( yes! that's the 2nd learning) maybe just maybe both of them are still be together. Some says that Milea don't deserve Dilan because she is so busy scolding him and ignored him when he needed him most , some says that Dilan is just too egoistic. For me there's no question of their feelings because when they reunite after years of silent we know love is still there but they were not that brave to express their feelings, its not because she has already a boyfriend or the timing or the fate's fault but it's the hesitation. If I can make my own ending for them maybe I'll chase Dilan and get married, I'll fight for the one who can make me feel comfortable and always make my day beautiful with his joke.
Before ill end I'll leave you with Dilan's 1990 and 1991 ost song and a quote of Pidi Baiq "If love isn't beautiful , you chose the wrong person".
So basically I already watch every remake of Itazura na Kiss
since 2005 version up to the latest of 2011.
though there's a huge comparison between
every live action adaptation of the manga
but for me nothing beats the Japanese version
of Yuki Furukawa & Honoka Yahagi
formerly known as Miki Honoka for both Itazura na kiss 1 & 2 ,
simply because it has almost everything
that was close enough to the anime.
Though the 2019 Chinese version of Darren Wang
makes you watch the movie all over again
(yes simply because its Darren Wang).
The Korean version of Kim Hyun Joong & Jung So-min
has the cutest relationship among the other pairs,
I don't know about you but for me they are.
The out of line story probably was the Kiss Me
of the Thai Version of Mike and Aom
(I am not against them I love both them
I even watch their other remake series,so its not them)
It's the story itself of Tenten and Taliw that
some scenes are way too far from the original,
its good for some but not for me.

I love the story , its the simplest reason why I watch every remake, even if I already know the ending . I even lost count on how many times I put on repeats the every episode or scene that I like. When the male lead memorize the love letter of the female lead , The graduation picture taking, impromptu date during college, the 3 kisses and of course the rain scene, these are just few of my favorite. Then only the anime version showed the only scene where in the female lead gave birth (you may check it out if you like).
I'm leaving you the Itazura na kiss 2 theme song as a reminder that this story will make you realize that if you love someone and the feeling is not mutual you shouldn't give up and try to push a little harder you will never know one day as what Naokie said " People change their mind. Today you hate someone, tomorrow you may become fond of them."
